Specifically formulated with very pure copper powder, CUIVROJELT is a high-performance protective agent delivered in aerosol form. Made up of additives and synthetic resins dispersed in solvents, it forms a flexible film with excellent corrosion resistance and outstanding outdoor durability. Thus, CUIVROJELT protects various body panels (sheet metal) against external damage. To be used before any type of assembly, CUIVROJELT facilitates thermoelectric welding (spot welds, beads, etc.…) thanks to its high conductivity. It provides perfect adhesion on all metal substrates and can notably be applied overhead without running. This protective coating withstands temperatures up to 350°C without degradation and features an aesthetic finish that requires no further treatment.

Description

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• For CUIVROJELT to adhere perfectly, it is essential to thoroughly degrease, sand, brush, wash, dust and dry the surfaces completely
• Avoid painting when the temperature is below 5°C
• Shake the aerosol upside down for 1 to 2 minutes; the ball will mix the solvents, resins and pigments
• Begin spraying by moving the aerosol, nozzle up, 15/25 cm from the surface
• Spray in slightly overlapping bands and never hold the aerosol stationary in the same direction to avoid runs
• To achieve good coverage, alternate your movements from left to right and from top to bottom
• Apply thin, repeated coats rather than a single thick one that will run
• Wait 30 minutes between coats
• Full drying occurs after 24 hours
• Once the work is finished, turn the aerosol upside down and press the nozzle to purge the entire spray system. Keep pressing until only propellant gas comes out
• If necessary, clean the nozzle with white spirit

Pickling is the operation that removes all oxides after welding, by removing the surface depleted as a result of heat treatment.
It is the most important step in the treatment process.
It must be taken into account that a weld bead is a surface that has been heated and generally loses its stainless properties.
For these reasons, the pickling operation does not simply mean cleaning the weld beads but primarily consists of restoring the stainless steel's characteristics.

How to use Picklinox paste?

Degrease the surface to be treated with the specific product CLEANOX.
Then apply a layer of paste.
Rinse with water after a variable time depending on the grade of stainless steel and the type of welding (up to 30 minutes).
