Description

A versatile MMA and TIG unit, microprocessor-controlled with a touch keypad and digital display. Its design and performance make it the ideal and supremely powerful tool for the demanding professional.

Thanks to its high duty cycle, the PROGYS 200A PFC welder effortlessly welds all steel, stainless steel, cast iron, rutile, and basic electrodes (Ø1.6 to 5 mm). Capable of welding 45 electrodes of 3.2 mm diameter in 1 hour!

Adjustment range from 10 to 200 A.

It features the following functions:
HOT START adjustable, which reduces the risk of sticking when the electrode and workpiece are cold, and also facilitates arc striking and penetration.
ARC FORCE adjustable, which keeps the current constant regardless of arc length.
ANTI-STICKING reduces the risk of the electrode sticking to the workpiece.
ADS: automatic arc fade-out (ADS)
This innovative function allows you to finish a weld bead without craters thanks to an arc fade-out. The duration is adjustable and the fade-out at the end of the weld is triggered by a simple movement of the torch.

Supplied in a case with:
1 electrode holder + 25 mm² 2 m cable
1 ground clamp + 25 mm² 1.6 m cable.

Optional:
TIG TORCH: Reference 087583, valve torch with a length of 4 m. TIG Lift arc striking.
Please note, this unit does not allow welding of aluminum in TIG mode.

TIG welding requires a shielding gas supply (pure Argon) throughout the welding operation.

  • Good French device, keep it up for a long time. Excellent duty cycle. Perfect setting, passes all the electrodes up to diameter 5. Small downside, the electrode carrying cable deserves to be 50 centimeters longer. Other than that it's perfect.
