Description

Important

The torch must be fitted with the correct consumables, chosen according to the application and the set current. An incorrect choice of consumable will cause cutting defects, premature wear of consumables and possibly a malfunction of the whole unit. The torch is supplied with a pot of silicone grease to limit seal wear and galling of metal parts. It is advisable to apply this grease regularly.

Regularly check the wear condition of the shield cup, nozzle and electrode, or in the event of a significant reduction in cutting speed. It is advisable to replace the nozzle and electrode at the same time.


Consumables are wear parts; it is important to know when to replace them. Visually: melted or damaged consumables, nozzle holes>1.5mm, worn electrodes, melted pads… In practice: loss of cutting performance, difficult arc starting on workpiece, etc.
Regarding the nozzle: Tighten the nozzle so that all parts are firmly locked. The nozzle should not turn easily.
Use compressed air with oil and water filtration.
