The PROTIG 231L DC PFC is a pulsed DC TIG welding generator with an integrated cooling unit. Its PFC technology allows it to operate from 195 V to 265 V and achieve a very stable arc even on 100 m site extension cords. In stick electrode welding, its Pulsed MMA mode facilitates vertical-up welding.

2 welding processes available with this unit:

-TIG DC
Standard DC: welding with smooth current on the majority of ferrous materials.
Pulsed DC up to 2 kHz: controls the temperature of the weld pool, limits distortion and enables the joining of thin sheets from 0.3 mm.

2 tacking modes:
- Spot: adjustable tacking from 0.1 to 60 seconds for parts before welding.
- Pulse: adjustable tacking from 0.01 to 60 seconds on thin sheet metal before welding.
2 arc starting types:
- HF non-contact
- LIFT contact start for electrosensitive environments. 3 trigger modes: 2T, 4T and 4T LOG.

Advanced secondary regulation for optimal arc stability and constant current in all positions.
