Description
Important
The torch must be fitted with the correct consumables, chosen according to the application and the set current. A poor choice of consumable will cause cutting defects, premature wear of consumables and even malfunction of the entire unit.
Regularly check the wear condition of the protective nozzle, the tip and the electrode, or in the event of a significant reduction in cutting speed. It is recommended to replace the tip and electrode at the same time.
Consumables are wear parts; it is important to know when to replace them. Visually: melted or damaged consumables, nozzle holes>1.5mm, worn electrodes, melted pads… Practically: loss of cutting performance, difficult arc starting on workpiece, etc.
Regarding the nozzle: Tighten the nozzle so that all parts are firmly locked. The nozzle should not turn easily.
Use compressed air with oil and water filtration.
