The Rogue ET 230iP AC/DC is a professional, portable, high-quality AC/DC TIG welding machine designed to excel in the daily welding of aluminium, stainless steel and carbon steel.

The intuitive graphical interface with a 5-inch color screen offers new features for quick and easy adjustments. The machine can handle a wide range of material thicknesses, including very thin sheets.

The selectable waveforms (square, soft square, sinusoidal, triangle) allow optimized heat input for high penetration on thicker materials and low distortion on thin sheets. The pulsed DC TIG and AC TIG capabilities provide better control of the weld pool, allowing the welder to further customize the arc for multiple applications. 6 TIG AC/DC welding processes

TIG DC: Ensures quality welding on all ferrous materials such as steel, stainless steel, as well as copper and its alloys, titanium…
Pulsed TIG DC: Controls the temperature of the weld pool, limits deformation and thus allows the joining of thin sheets from 0.3 mm.
TIG DC Spot: Pre-assembles ferrous metal parts by tack welding

TIG AC Easy: Simplifies the use of the welding unit thanks to predefined parameters. The user only selects the diameter of their tungsten electrode on the interface
TIG Standard: Dedicated to welding aluminium and its alloys (Al, AlSi, AlMg, AlMn…). Alternating current ensures preliminary cleaning of the aluminium for a quality weld.
TIG AC Spot: Pre-assembles aluminium parts by tack welding.

MMA Standard: Accepts basic, rutile electrodes up to Ø 4 mm

This unit enables welding of steel, stainless steel and aluminum; ignition is either HF or LIFT type.

THINSPOT function, enabling fast and precise spot welding.

It features the following functions:

TIG LIFT : Facilitates electrode striking.

TIG HF High-frequency CONTACTLESS ignition

TIG 2T/4T( manual or automatic welding)

TIG SPOT allows tack welding of parts before welding.

HOT START adjustable: additional starting power for electrodes that are difficult to strike.

SLOPE DOWN adjustable: this system eliminates arc extinction, thus preventing the formation of a crater at the end of the weld bead.

ARC FORCE: This process increases the amperage when the welding arc is kept short, which has the effect of increasing penetration and the mechanical strength of the weld bead.

ANTI STICKING: in the case of welding with coated electrodes, prevents electrode overload and thus preserves its characteristics,

TIG BI LEVEL: two different welding current parameters can be selected during the welding process, PRE-GAS/POST-GAS
